Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25/09/2026

This is a translation of the Catalan original. In case of any discrepancy, the Catalan version prevails.

1. Who is responsible

LA RÀPITA SANT FRANCESC 46, S.L.U. (hereinafter “the Pizzeria”), owner of the trade name Pizzeria La Ràpita, is responsible for this website and for managing the cookies used on it.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the device (phone, tablet or computer) of the person browsing it, to remember useful information between visits: for example, keeping you signed in or keeping the items in your cart while you place your order.

Similar technologies (such as localStorage, sessionStorage and IndexedDB) that store information in your browser are also used. In this policy we treat all of these technologies in the same way.

3. Which cookies we use

On this website we only use strictly necessary technical cookies for the service to work. We do not use advertising, third-party tracking or analytics cookies.

Our own cookies (the Pizzeria's)

  • Google sign-in session (managed by Supabase Auth):
    • Keep you signed in after you sign in with Google
    • Renew the access token when it expires
    • Duration: until you sign out or it expires (1 year at most)
  • Language (NEXT_LOCALE cookie):
    • Remember which language you want to see the website in
    • Duration: until you close your browser
  • Cart and order form (localStorage — not an HTTP cookie, but handled in the same way):
    • Remember the items you have added to your cart
    • Remember the details you have already entered in the order form
    • Duration: the cart is emptied when you place your order; the form details stay in your browser until you delete them
  • Temporary data for the order in progress (sessionStorage):
    • Show you the summary on the thank-you page, prevent an order from being sent twice and bring you back to your language after signing in with Google
    • Duration: deleted when you close the tab

Third-party cookies (needed for the service)

  • Google (Identity — sign in with a Google account): when you click “Continue with Google”, Google may store cookies in your browser to manage your Google session. Policy: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
  • Stripe (payment processing): when you pay for an order online, Stripe stores technical and security (fraud prevention) cookies on its own domain during the payment process. Policy: stripe.com/cookies-policy
  • Netlify (website hosting): may store minimal technical cookies to keep the service stable. Policy: netlify.com/privacy

These third parties are providers needed to offer the online ordering service. We have no other third-party cookies (we do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel or any similar advertising tracking tool).

4. Do we need your consent?

The cookies we use are strictly necessary technical cookies, meaning they are needed to provide the service you ask us for (placing an order, signing in, processing a payment), or they remember a preference you have chosen yourself (the language). Under Spanish and European law (LSSI-CE art. 22.2 + ePrivacy Directive), these cookies do NOT require prior consent.

That is why we do not show you a pop-up asking you to accept cookies — all the ones we use are essential for the website to work normally or remember a choice you made.

5. How to manage them in your browser

You can set your browser to block, limit or delete cookies at any time. Bear in mind that blocking technical cookies may stop some features of this website from working properly (for example, you could lose your cart, be unable to sign in or be unable to pay).

6. Changes to this policy

If we ever introduce new cookies (for example, analytics tools), we will update this policy and ask for your explicit consent before enabling them, as required by law.

The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
